Introduction Into Production Work - Brief

For the production in the advanced portfolio I am going to be making a music promotion video along with a CD cover and a magazine advertisement for the artist's CD. My aim to represent the social group of free runners (parkour artists) through a more unconventional slow music track in order for the visuals to be more visually appealing. I have chosen to do this as it will fit in with the theory of post modernism, in which my work will be based upon, and also through my research I am expecting to find that this hasn't been done much in other media products so it will show a different side to the sport and also give my work a unique appearance. I will be working with a partner to make the music promotion package which will enable a easier filming racemes as we will be able to shoot the video along with taking notes and still images of the shots which will help to remember all the different shots when we come to analyse our products and also provide evidence of production.
